VR CORPORATENEXT'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE
 

REGULATORY POLICY

 

ART. 1 . CGSAS' ESTABLISHMENT

1.1. The organisation and activities of the CENTER for GLOBAL STUDIES & Applied Sciences are driven and regulated by VR Corporatenext S.r.l., as a private and independent organization, hereinafter referred to as "CGSAS";

1.2. The CGSAS is established and located to the VR Corporatenext's quarters, in Italy and the United Kingdom;

1.3. The CGSAS operates in accordance with VR Corporatenext's Bylaws, the Italian and EU Directives and on the basis of the following conditions as a Division or a Department of VR Corporatenext.

 

ART. 2 . CGSAS' PURPOSE

2.1. The aim of the CGSAS is understanding and developing concrete solutions to key nodes of global transformation in Economic, Technological, Security and Defence-related, Environmental, and Industrial scenarios;

2.2. Based on VR Corporatenext's operational organisation, the CGSAS is open to cooperations and partnerships with Scientific and Technical entities, individual and collective, oriented to the same values and targets as well as skilled and specialised in similar studies and research;

2.3. Participation in the CGSAS’s activities shall be open to all individuals and collective entities interested in the subjects dealt with.

 

ART. 3. ACTIVITIES

3.1. The CGSAS purposes and projects aim to:

a) disclose, publish and spread scientific and technical analysis, indexes, insights, research and assessment;

b) organise national and international forums, gatherings and conferences;

c) seek funding for research and disclosure projects;

d) bring together study groups and research labs;

e) develop and foster agreements with bodies, foundations and centers in national and international sectors and fields, interested in the CGSAS activities and promote the mutual exchange and cooperation;

f) encourage meetings with Authorities, private organizations and international entities of all levels and any types.

 

ART. 4 . CGSAS' BODIES

4.1. The bodies of the Center are its President, the Director, the Members, the VR Corporatenext' Advisory Board and the Scientific Committee.

ART. 5 . CGSAS' PRESIDENT

5.1. The CGSAS appoints the President of the Center through the VR Corporatenext's Board of Directors, who is entrusted with the task of coordinating its activities. 

5.2. The term of office shall be three academic years, renewable;

5.3. The President is responsible for:

a) representing the CGSAS in the Institutional and Intergovernmental path;

b) promoting the activities of the CGSAS in the Institutional and Intergovernmental path;

c)  convening and chairing CGSAS Members;

d) submitting at the end of each academic year a report on the activity carried out.

 

ART. 6 . CGSAS' DIRECTOR

6.1. The CGSAS appoints the Director of the Center through the VR Corporatenext' Scientific Committee, who is entrusted with the task of coordinating its activities. 

6.2. The term of office shall be three academic years, renewable;

6.3. The Director is responsible for:

a) representing the CGSAS in the Technical, Commercial, Academic and Scientific environments;

b) promoting the activities of the CGSAS in the Technical, Commercial, Academic and Scientific environments;

c)  convening and chairing CGSAS Members;

d) submitting at the end of each academic year a report on the activity carried out.

 

ART. 7 . CGSAS' MEMBERS 

7.1. The CGSAS recognises two types of Members:

a) Researchers and academics oriented to the same values and targets as well as skilled and specialised in similar activities;

b) Analysts, strategists and entrepreneurs operating into the Economic, Technological, Security and Defence-related, Environmental, and Industrial scenarios.

ART. 8 . VR CORPORATENEXT' ADVISORY BOARD

8.1. The Advisory Board takes part to the CGSAS activities as well as in the ordinary operational VR Corporatenext's path, made up of proven specialists and experts of national and international repute and acts as a guarantor of the CGSAS' work, supporting the Scientific Committee and the Center's Members.

 

ART. 9 . VR CORPORATENEXT' SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

9.1. The Scientific Committee takes part to the CGSAS activities as well as in the ordinary operational VR Corporatenext's path, made up of proven specialists and experts of national and international repute and acts as a guarantor of the CGSAS' work, supporting the Scientific Committee and the Center's Members.

 

ART. 10 . MEMBERS' EVALUATION

10.1. The CGSAS-related duties and activities of members will be evaluated on an annual basis by the CGSAS' President and Director. This evaluation will be provided in an annual letter of evaluation written by the Director for each member;

10.2. The Director of the CGSAS will ensure that each member has the opportunity to have his/her activities observed and evaluated at least once a year.

 

ART. 11 . FINANCING

11.1. The CGSAS relies on the VR Corporatenext's and Center's Members funding;

11.2. Public or private bodies, companies and Institutions, can support the CGSAS' activities with their own resources on the basis of special agreements.

 

ART. 12 . ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGEMENT

12.1. The Center has no administrative autonomy and accounting management is entrusted to the VR Corporatenext's organisation.

 

ART. 13 . REGULATION AMENDMENTS

13.1. The President, the Director and VR Corporatenext's Board of Directors may propose and apply amendments to the present Regulatory Bylaws.
