VR CORPORATENEXT HAS LAUNCHED THE

“MAGHREB COUNCIL” ROADSHOW IN ROME

In Rome, at its Via Veneto quarters, VR Corporatenext, a company specialising in Corporate Advisory and Intergovernmental Affairs, has launched a roadshow entitled “MAGHREB Council”. The initiative focuses on developing multilateral relations among Italy, EU Member States, and the Maghreb region, with the aim of promoting and strengthening Public-private partnerships (PPPs), project management and financing, and infrastructure development.

Reserved exclusively for diplomatic corps, international organisations, and economic and financial operators, the closed-door meetings will continue throughout the spring of 2026 and will feature representatives of specialised entities operating in Infrastructural, Defense, Healthcare, Energy, and Agriculture.

Among the various socioeconomic topics addressed, discussions have centered on the implementation of chamber powers and instruments—both Italian, European, and African—with particular emphasis on the foundational elements for the establishment of a paragovernmental entity, building on the initiatives launched in the last century by the "Istituto Italiano per l’Africa", as well as on a specialized professional training program developed in cooperation with a few United Nations agencies.

The roots of this economic diplomacy initiative date back to 2012, when the Chairman, President, Founder, and CEO of VR Corporatenext, Giovambattista Scuticchio Foderaro, initiated the first relations and operations in Tunisia and Libya, subsequently extended to Algeria and adjacent territories. Operational headquarters in the MENA region were consolidated between 2015 and 2017, enabling VR Corporatenext to acquire in-depth expertise in the geopolitical, regulatory, and market context of North Africa.

In line with the principles of digital transition and sustainable development, and on behalf of the Infrastructure Department as well as the Industrial Affairs and Finance Divisions of VR Corporatenext, Riccardo Ferrari, Andrea Livoli, and Raffaella Keringer will present, during the forthcoming sessions, new blockchain platforms integrated with smart contracts, asset tokenization (fungible and non-fungible tokens), DeFi (Decentralized Finance) protocols, NFTs, and other industrial and infrastructural application solutions.

These systems are designed to deliver optimisation of governance processes, extreme operational performance, and secure end-to-end execution through cryptographic architectures and fault-tolerant consensus mechanisms. The technologies guarantee, among all stakeholders—particularly legal entities from different jurisdictions—the automation of regulatory compliance, real-time transaction monitoring, immediate enforcement of guarantees, and automatic determination of contractual conditions, from onboarding and relationship structuring through to the closing of supply contracts and the operational rollout of projects, in a trust-minimised and audit-proof protocol.

“The Maghreb represents one of the most strategically relevant geographical areas for Italian and European economic projection—more stable and less conflictual than much of the Middle East or the Sahel regions. Through the "MAGHREB Council", we provide Italian, European, and African enterprises and institutions with a comprehensive ecosystem of technical and scientific expertise, established relationships, and executive capabilities developed over more than fourteen years of direct on-the-ground presence. Our objective is to convert opportunities into concrete, sustainable, and long-term results, in the interest of national economic diplomacy and Mediterranean stability,” declared Giovambattista Scuticchio Foderaro at the closing of the first roundtable of the month.

In support of its strategic advisory activities, VR Corporatenext, through the “CENTER for GLOBAL Studies & Applied Sciences”, supplies interdisciplinary analyses, market intelligence, and predictive modelling to guide critical decision-making by governments, public institutions, and private entities, including in the most sensitive scenarios and sectors.

The purpose of the “MAGHREB Council” is to support all entities, organisations, and companies targeting the Maghreb and Africa in the design and execution of projects, while also assisting diplomatic, governmental, and intergovernmental bodies in the planning and implementation of economic missions—thereby reducing risks and maximising the effectiveness of cooperation initiatives with host counterparts.

VR Corporatenext is a global growth authority firm specialised in Corporate Advisory and Intergovernmental Affairs, founded by Giovambattista Scuticchio Foderaro in 2015 and accredited and registered with national and international bodies, including NATO, UNGM, the EU Parliament, the UK FCDO, MEMI, and other allied authorities.
